Board Certified Plastic Surgeons

As we covered in the previous post the ASPS (American Society For Plastic Surgeons) is a coveted and necessary position for any surgeon looking to establish themselves. Here we will cover a few of of the credentials necessary to qualify for membership to the society:

- Has at least 6 years of training and experience in surgery, with 3 years specifically in plastic surgery

- Is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery

- Operates only in accredited medical facilities

- Fulfills continuing education requirements, including patient safety techniques

- Will be your partner, working to achieve your goals

To ensure that your surgeon is capable of the necessary tasks to complete your surgery, look for the ASPS symbol in association with their site or name.
